I will be landing in Rome next week and plan on making a visit to this company that has developed a technology to make thin films of light. The tape, an electro-luminous film, less than 1mm thick, flexible, applicable on any kind of surface, able to substitute the traditional systems of lighting, offering new and alternative solutions, otherwise impossible to reach with the existing types of equipment. The installations made in various sectors of the market such as Stage-design, Furnishings, Design, Lighting Technology for Museums, Advertising, Automobiles, Railway, Clothing Industry, Safety Signaling testify the potentiality of the company’s products. I feel that there would be endless applications of this material. Elshine also creates various products of LED glass – I am currently working on a product that could benefit from both technologies.
