So I promised the good, the fun, and the cool hunt – thus I would like to point out a must see place in Downtown Los Angeles : the Edison Bar. I know it has been around forever, but my first visit last week was quite fun. Although I was not there for a long time I look forward to going again very soon. The Edison is an old warehouse in the heart of downtown – designed to maintain old mechanical artifact celebrating an era of invention and imagination. The place frolics with a bohemian decadent crowd, complete with dancers and face painters. Thursday nights from 5 to 7 pm is thirty-five cent martini happy hour – the price from the depression era. That should give you an even better reason to go!
